Cache images for better performance

This is on my iPhone, v2.54.1 and earlier as far as I can remember.

When you have bad internet, the images do not appear in the app. There are place holders, this is despite the fact they were probably shown on the phone a little while earlier.

Please can you enable some better caching of these?
