Budgeting in categories or tags

Is there any way, even if it is a round about way, that I can budget categories (or tags or what ever) so that my budget does not just say I have eg £800 planned spend this month and £600 currently left to spend, but that I have planned spend of £200 on cat/tag/whatever A and £200 on B, £300 on C, £100 on D and then at the current point in the month I have for eg £100 left of A, £110 left of B, etc…

Is there a way to present this even if its making use of something a round about way if you know what I mean?

Is this concept planned at any point?
