I know the initial release is for Direct Debits only, so I was thinking about all the other ‘bills’ that arent direct debits. While we wait for the addition of other types of payments, it would be great to be able to select a transaction and select an option to ‘withdraw from pot’ that would take the exact amount from the selected pot, maybe add a note to say what it was for. This way when a non-DD bill comes in, you open the transaction, select withdraw from pot, select pot
This would be really handy feature in general for me, but thought it would be a nice work around until bill pots is fully featured

This feature has already been suggested. You can vote for it here:
Hi,
It would be great if when selecting a transaction I could “assign” it to a pot.
Say for instance I have a pot for holidays, one for bills, one for eating out etc.
I go out for dinner and pay on my card and then when I assign that transaction to the ‘eating out’ account it removes that amount from that pot and transfers it into my main account.
I know I can quite easily do this myself manually each time, but having this convenient shortcut would be great.
Thanks.

Not a feature update, but a personal usage update - I managed to break the feature by locking my Bills Pot
I am hoping we get this fixed before release

I’m sure we had that on the staff test warning

You broke it or subjected it to rigorous user testing?

Yes.
(I definitely didn’t add this emoji to the forum for my own entertainment)

When Simon reports that he broke it

It’s the same team as the paid early feature. It’s looking like that’s getting the full rollout tomorrow.

Standing orders as well as DD would be great as I imagine the largest expense of the month for most people (rent) comes out as a standing order

Is there any long term plans to have specific transactions (not DD or Standing order) come from a bill pot i.e. TFL transactions?

Is there any rough timescale? Weeks/months etc…?
