Barclays don’t show anything exciting. They do let you see direct debits that have been added to the account in the relevant section of the app.
If you’re paid by bacs and due for payment Monday, you get it midnight Saturday.

Thanks! I stupidly changed my employee from Revolut to Barclays and can’t see the pay pending.
Really hoping it lands tomorrow.
If you’re paid on 28th it’ll land just after midnight tonight usually.

I had such an email this morning from HSBC telling me that there was a new document to view. It was an actual letter confirming that my Standing Order was now set up and ready for use. Seems rather pointless to produce a formal letter when you just basically set up a repeating FP in the app.

Barclaycard changed their T&C for the Avios credit cards.
Can now collect Avios for balance transfers and money transfers (fee applies).
Sign up bonus eligibility now changed from 2 years after account closed to 2 years after you previously received bonus.

They might start clamping down on people paying their AMEX (amongst other things) off with Curve/Barclaycard as well.

Just got off the phone to Barclays Premier and the agent advised me that there should be a new app in the next few months.

Maybe they will finally bring back their SIPP accounts. I’ve been wanting to open one with them since I first joined. It’s been “coming soon” since last year…
