I don’t think they ever hard searched me, but they also never agreed to grant me a credit limit increase.
They’re incredibly stingy usually.

Interesting that they haven’t stopped taking applications yet; looking forward to seeing what Barclays do with them - they’re rather a shell of what they once were.

I got an auto increase of…£450 
Mine goes up every year with no searches. Have also requested increases in past with no searches.

They didn’t for me. If you request it through the app, I’m fairly sure it says they won’t, before you request it, so you should be able to check.

Thanks to all who replied regarding increasing my credit limit. No hard search done and it immediately approved my requested limit!

Does anyone else have an issue setting up a Barclaycard direct debit with Monzo?
Any other account I have - Barclays, Santander, Lloyds, Nationwide but it won’t move past the first enter details screen when I enter my monzo details

There was definitely a previous discussion around this which centred on the 04-00-03 sort code not yet being updated on Barclaycard’s end.

It was reproducible though, like Nationwide, Lloyds, OK, Monzo and it crashes trying to go to next page, others ok again

Barclays famously don’t like fintech banks for certain things like loan applications or direct debits – only for some people though.
Some form of risk scoring and they promised to change, but not sure if they said when by. Paging @N26throwaway
Barclays are just a dodgy bunch and I’m happy to have left them.

I had issues with switching apps and the Barclays app not liking being in the background when I didn’t have a full account (Mortgage Only) - once I had a current account that issue went away.
It seems Barclaycard are finally starting to allow cards to be added to Google Pay. No idea if this is all cards, but I am now able to added my Forward card which I couldn’t beforehand.
Seems like it’s just their visa cards, can’t add my avios
You can add the Rewards card too, I’ve added mine a week or so ago.
Anyone know if you can pay a barclays loan back early?
Google search says yes.
