Generally I’ve had a good experience in branch, it’s just the faff of getting seen to troubleshoot any issues.
Over the support, like with most of the banks I get a different answer depending who I’m currently speaking to.

Haven’t really caught much on Barclays ways of working.
Direct debits - do you get notified on the day they’re taken? Anything ahead of time or just when the funds move?
Any notification when a direct debit is set up? Or just appear in your scheduled payments list?
Does this happen ahead of time or only from day of debit?
The app is a bit 
and

You get a notification saying “your direct debit of £Xxx was paid from account XXXX”
And they will appear in the scheduled payments list once set up. You also get an email saying a direct debit has been set up for account ending XXXX with the supplier name. Both these happen ahead of time

Barclaycard app working fine. Don’t have Barclays app but pretty sure they are identical.

Seems to be working now, albeit loops once.
Edit: nope playing up again.

I only have Barclaycard but yes, it’s looping. Eventually it brought up the passcode entry dialog by itself.

Yes I had a problem with this earlier. Stuck in an endless Face ID loop.

Barclaycard app still looping on Face ID, but covering the sensor and using the pin as suggested above does work.
although the first time I did it the app crashed. Went back and tried again and it worked the second time.
Not sure if it’s connected, but I have had issues with one of the tiles not displaying correctly in the app for years, but the tile did display correctly once I got in. So maybe a small improvement in one area and a set back in another!

Logged into Barclaycard app fine here.
Weird - glad it’s working in some cases. Just tried again and still no luck here, but given it’s accessible via pin it’s not really an issue.
I just turned off FaceID for now
