Hi :wave: Sorry to see that you’re running into a problem when connecting your Monzo account to the Apple wallet app.

This issue was raised with us a while back, we reported it to Apple who said it will be fixed in the next minor release of iOS 17.

Workaround from Apple: While we wait for the fix to be released, customers can work around this issue by manually disconnecting and reconnecting the account.

  1. Disconnecting the account can be done via Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > Connections > Monzo and select Disconnect.
  2. Then reconnect via Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > Payment Cards > select Monzo card and then select Get Account Balance & Activity

To give some context on the issue it’s to do with replacement cards being activated and the Wallet app believing that the old card is still connected.

As of recently (last few weeks) my Monzo card keeps disconnecting, flex has been fine

No issues here with either Monzo main or Flex.

I really like this functionality. I can have a quick scout around all of my accounts in one place. It’s clean and simple.

The only one of my cards that seemingly hasn’t been implemented yet is Chase. Come on Chase!
