Apple Wallet / Issues

Just wondering if anyone else is having issues connecting Apple Pay cards to Apple Wallet? I’ve tried with all HSBC and First Direct Cards but non seem to work. I’ve contacted Apple Support and they screen shared with me and they claim they don’t have any issues on their end and must be the bank. Unfortunately due to HSBC and FD being linked companies I can’t try another card and don’t want to remove my other bank cards just in case they won’t add again. I’ve gone through the steps of checking country location in settings and all those steps are fine. I’ve thought about deleting Apple Pay and reinstalling but unsure. Any advice or info? I’ve contacted FD but can’t get through to them as don’t have my telephone banking password yet as it’s a new account.

HSBC and FD will resolve it over the phone.

Apple don’t auth the card at all, it’s handled by the bank.

Thank you, yeah I’ve just removed Monzo card and re added it with no issues . So it’s HSBC/FD I’ll have to contact.
