There has been rumours that this could happen for a while, but the fact they are not planning to unify macOS and iOS is a surprise. I always expected it to merge the OS’s when they merged the apps.
Hopefully it won’t make even poor quality apps appear on the Mac.

It’s something they’ve started with OSX Mojave, which now has Home, Stocks, News and Voice Memos apps.
Fingers crossed an SDK will pave the way for a Monzo app.

Yep. Right after they’re finished doing all that major dev work to get the iPad app out the door… Guess I better not hold my breath.
