Bought a new Siri Remote with the intention of having one for me and one for the wife (ChatGPT told me it was possible).
Turns out it’s not. It’s a 3rd gen remote vs the all black 1st gen one I had though, so I guess I’ll keep it. Buttons are much nicer than that stupid touchpad.

It does still have that stupid touchpad if you want to use it
I turned it off in the Apple TV settings, but the remote is touch sensitive
