Thanks. I didn’t know that method. I had gone to look via settings but hadn’t realised the version would be ‘Advanced’ information.
On Google play it says

I agree. I was on holiday when that email arrived, with no access to wifi and hence app updates, and a four day warning that my Monzo account would stop working. Not impressed. First time that I’ve been concerned about Monzo’s reliability, and it’s a major concern.
Changes in legislation like this are out of Monzo’s hands though
Giving enough notice is not out of their control to be fair.
