For anyone who didn’t read my ‘Say Hello!’ message when we launched the forum, I’m fluent in Gaeilge (the Irish language). I actually did my masters in communications through Irish in UCD! ![]()
Any other Gaeilgeoirs among us? ![]()

Is féidir liom Gaeilge a labhairt anseo… cineál! @Cian
Definitely not a gaeilgeoir but I have a 10 weeks course and some Duolingo under my belt ![]()
Husband is from Galway and understands it a lot better than I can. We occasionally have TG4 or RTÉ RnaG on. Maybe I go back to studying it, quite a few placed up here in Belfast that run the courses

Lots of Duolingo, mostly, but still after 10 years I don’t get what peppa pig says on tg4 ![]()
I did a couple of years of night classes with Conradh na Gaeilge myself a few years ago, but I’m very rusty at this stage.
Ní raibh mé ag súil le go mbeadh Gaeilge á labhairt ag an bhfóram seo!
Tá Gaeilge agamsa, mé féin san nGalltacht i gCo. Chorcaí faoi láthair, cé nach Corcaíoch mé féin caithfidh mé a admháil!
Gaeilge más féidir, chomh minic agus is féidir ![]()
