Any recommendations would be nice.
The only one of those I’ve seen is Serial Experiments Lain, and the only recommendation I can think of from that is Perfect Blue. But you may have seen that already.
(And I’d struggle to recommend anything new as all my reference points are late 90s/early 00s, it seems
