# ✅ \[Android\] Spent today total reset ignores time zones? \[NOT BUG\]

Total spent per day total seems to. Ignore local. Time. Zone. Eg am. In USA 🇺🇸 but the total seems to reset with. Gmt/bst would it not be better observe local. Time. Zones.

**Details to reproduce:** spend spend spend and total. Increases until resets not midnight local  
**OS:** andriod 8  
**Device:** Sony xz1  
**App Version:**

Yep. Monzo use UTC for date boundaries

Not sure what problem you mean? As has already been pointed out, this behaviour is expected since the bank uses a standard form of time regardless of where in the world you are.

This may change one day in the future but not any time soon that we’re aware of.
