Make that three

No word back from the chat, but I guess they’re busy closing accounts.

I suspect that the fintechs that have ATM and overseas fees are the ones about to close up shop.

Oh well, £10 or so in the bank from its early days.

They don’t do standing orders.

In fairness, they closed my account pretty swiftly. Took an hour max.

Can’t Lloyds just buy them for their tech and have a semi functional app.

How long do we give them?

Ordinarily I’d say about April next year, but they have some kind of relationship with Standard Chartered, so possible takeover in the offing?

Thanks for this, about to go and close my account

Closed my account yesterday.

Well I’ve sent an email for it to happen. I found I couldn’t start a new chat for some reason.

It’s such a nice looking application but I’m not about eMoney accounts and have no real desire to pay even £12 a year for it. Granted, that isn’t a load of money.

For me it is the idea of paying for what is freely available in so many other places I have access to.

Closed my account within 2 hours of my request.

To be fair mine wasn’t difficult to sort. For some reason I couldn’t open chat so had to email. Really wasn’t all that hard and now it’s shut.

I think once you leave, you cannot return. It seems to be a growing habit now with fintech’s and banks.

I closed an account when they first launched and opened a new one in December no problem (a bit of contact to verify my ID properly).

Hmm ok, it’s just I was told if I close it then I can’t return. I was asked to confirm if I still wanted to go ahead.

Maybe I was given incorrect information.

I was told the same. Perhaps the policy has changed? Not that I’d want to return.

Honestly didn’t mention anything to me.
