Haha, yeah, it was half “tongue in cheek” and half “I’ve been burned before”.

I’m sure they’ll keep it around - But I’m still not a lover of their approach to software design.

I also feel in instances like this, a targeted team of devs can produce something more beautiful than a mass market targeted app (like Keep or Apple Notes).

I use Notability. It’s the best note taking app I’ve found yet. Think it was £10

I tried Notability a while ago.

Didn’t feel great on the Mac.

Looked more suited to the iPad and student type notes (if in a lecture etc).

Yes - Drafts 5. I use a tweaked version of this https://actions.getdrafts.com/a/1Cc

Until the Drafts beta on Mac is better, I can’t use it.

I like the iOS app though.

Yea - the Mac beta is (in my view) pretty useless without Actions. I however copy and paste from the iOS version of Agenda…

Yeah, nearly all of my inputting is on the Mac.

I’ve been using Agenda today (just playing around), and I’m super impressed.

It’s not perfect, and it doesn’t fit all my needs (well, wants, because I don’t really have needs as such), but it’s very nice to use (which is half of the battle!)

I use Day One mostly these days. It’s more of a journalling app, but it supports tags, markdown, media embedding and numerous notebooks. It also stores current weather conditions, music playing etc. Both the Mac and iOS apps are great.

Yeah I like those apps, but despite trying the whole journaling thing, it never stuck with me.

The fees are pricey for what I’d need, but can defintely see the attraction for someone making the most of Day One!
